JP3 FD RX7 Battery Tray Kits and Related Components

We offer several battery tray solutions for the 3rd generation RX7 that allow you to upgrade your battery to a smaller and lighter battery whether you want to keep the battery in the engine bay or relocate it to the rear of the car.  

For those who prefer to keep the battery in the engine bay, we offer a battery tray kit that is also compatible with the popular Greddy Vmount intercooler setup. Our Engine Bay Battery Tray kit is suited to fit an Odyssey PC680 battery or a battery with similar dimensions. It includes hardware and brackets that allow it to be installed with the Greddy Vmount setup.

For those who want to upgrade to a lithium battery, we also offer a Battery Tray Upgrade that allows you to use an Antigravity ATX20HD or ATX20RS battery with the Engine Bay Battery Kit. 

We also offer a circuit breaker kit that allows you to install a 150 amp resettable circuit breaker on top of the battery that can also be used as a quick disconnect. 

For those who want to relocate the battery to the rear of the car, we offer a battery relocation kit that enables you to mount an Antigravity ATX20HD or ATX20RS battery in the rear trunk of the car.  The unique part of our rear battery tray kit is that it mounts the battery in a pocket behind the rear trim and completely hides the battery once installed.  In addition, our kit comes complete with a 200 amp resettable circuit breaker that doubles as a cut off switch.

BATTERY FUSE BLOCK BRACKET KIT

Whether relocating the battery to the rear bins or rear trunk, it will leave the battery fuse block hanging in the engine bay, literally.  In OEM form, the battery fuse block is attached to the positive battery terminal. Once the battery is relocated, the battery fuse block is left without a proper support.  

Our Battery Fuse Block Bracket solves this very problem.  Simply put, it provides a sturdy mount, and allows the battery to be jumped or connected to a trickle charger from the engine bay. The bracket places the battery fuse block in the OEM location and utilizes a sleek rubber cap on the positive power post to keep a clean appearance. 

REPLACEMENT FUSE BLOCK BOOT

For those who prefer running an oem sized battery in the oem location, we offer a non-oem replacement fuse block boot to replace your old, torn, or missing boot.  Mazda required you to purchase a complete fuse block assembly as these were never sold separately.
