Product Description

Many FD3S owners remove the coolant line that runs to the throttle body and thermowax as it simplifies and cleans up the lines under the UIM.  In addition, its unnecessary unless you are trying to start your FD in subzero temps as that coolant line is there to keep ice from forming around the throttle body butterflies.  Once the coolant line is removed, most are left with the decision of what to do with the open coolant nipple on the rear iron.  Some people use a rubber cap and clamp, some use a coolant hose and bolt/clamp, while others re-route a new line to the water pump housing.

The JP3 FD3S Rear Iron Coolant Air Bleeder Kit solves this problem AND creates a new way to bleed air from the coolant system.

Our plug and play kit comes with a custom bent stainless hardline and all the parts to mount a bleeder fitting inconspicuously at the back of the UIM.  It eliminates the risk of having a coolant leak from a ruptured rubber cap or bolt cap.  With just a few turns of the bulkhead fitting cap, you can easily release any trapped air out of the rear iron.

The stainless steel mounting bracket can be mounted in two different orientations depending on which fuel rails you are running to allow for flexibility with clearance.  This kit will work on both OEM LIMs and ground zero/excessive (equal length runner) LIMs.
