Mazda RX7 FD3S 13B-REW Lower Intake Manifold Heat Shield (OEM LIM)

Heat management is an important aspect that should be handled in any build.  This heat shield is comprised of embossed stainless steel shaped to cover the OEM/99 Spec lower intake manifold and uses a ceramic fiber blanket as added insulation (rated for 2400deg F).  We include stainless studs to replace the two lower bolts on the engine to allow for nuts to secure the intake manifold to the engine and nuts to attach the heat shield to the intake manifold.  Additionally, we provide a CNC laser cut aluminum mounting bracket for the upper portion along with a titanium JP3 badge. 

This heat shield is intended for use with single turbo setups and will NOT work with the stock twin turbos.  In addition, it will not work with the OEM LIM with the EGR valve installed.  Verify that your turbo placement has room to fit this heat shield.  Additional shaping/modification of the heat shield may be needed once you install depending on your turbo configuration.
