If you aren't running the OEM power steering pump (either your not running power steering, or you are running an electric setup), but want to run AC, you will need a way to tension the accessory belt.
This specific kit is designed to use the OEM tensioner hardware and replaces the tensioning pulley with a 4 rib pulley to be used with an RX8 AC compressor which is 4 rib.
The kit includes the 4 rib pulley and belt.
