Mazda RX7 FD3S Radiator Fan & Motor Upgrade Kit

Want to upgrade your OEM FD radiator fans?  The RX8 five and seven blade fans paired with the RX8 fan motors are a great upgrade to the FD cooling system.  In-house testing indicates added CFM flow as a result of installing these fans and motors.

We've come up with a complete kit which includes the following:

• (1) 5 blade RX8 fan
• (1) 7 blade RX8 fan
• (2) RX8 fan motors
• (2) RX8 fan motor connectors and terminals that will allow connection from the FD RX7 harness to the RX8 fan motors
• New fan motor stainless steel mounting hardware
• Wire labels

In order to install, the OEM FD fan shroud needs to be unmounted from the vehicle.  The OEM fan blades and motors are then removed.  The RX8 fan motors and fan blades are then installed.  

The RX8 fan motors come with different electrical connectors compared to the OEM FD RX7 fan motors.  Our solution is to cut off the OEM FD RX7 electrical connectors from the body harness (or Greddy extension harness) and install new corresponding RX8 electrical terminals and connectors.
